How to get a Facebook video transcript

Facebook can show auto-generated captions on some videos, but there is no way to copy them and most videos have none. This tool transcribes the audio of any public Facebook video or Reel, so captions are not required.

1. Copy the Facebook video link

Open the video or Reel on Facebook, click Share and choose Copy link. In a browser you can also copy the address bar. Supported link formats:

2. Paste it and click Get Transcript

3. Copy or download the text
